The LFA is sold out

Bad news for supercar lovers, and for those of you who have been a little out of the loop: you can no longer buy the Lexus LFA, it has sold out. Even though production begins next December, the 500 units that Lexus planned to build are already sold. The fastest buyers were the Germans, who took more than 150 of these units, which accounts for almost a third of the models built.
There is a curious detail when buying it from the United States: Lexus does not sell the car to North American customers, it is “leased” for two years to protect buyers from speculators, and if after that period they want to buy it, they can then take possession of it.
With a weight of 1480 and a 4.8L V10 engine producing 553 CV, the Lexus has a top speed of around 325 km/h. Thanks to its 480 Nm of torque and its six-speed ASG gearbox, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 3.7 seconds. It has a very special feature : its high rev range, with the engine spinning at almost 9,000 rpm, whose sound we were able to enjoy a few months ago.
