Toyota confirms the launch of the Auris hybrid for September

Toyota wants to have a hybrid in each of its models on the market. To that end, it has already taken its first steps to equip the Auris with a new hybrid version, with the aim of meeting its target across its entire range by 2020. The company highlighted that this model has CO2 emissions of 89 grams per kilometre driven.
Technically, the hybrid Auris will fit a system with an output of 136 CV, which allows the hybrid Auris to have an average fuel consumption of 3.8 litres per 100 km driven and carbon dioxide emissions of 89 grams per kilometre.
The new model from the Japanese carmaker has four different driving modes depending on the situation, including EV mode, ECO mode and POWER mode, using the well-known Hybrid Synergy Drive. And indeed, the hybrid Auris will arrive in Spain, as many had hoped.
But not all of Toyota’s efforts in hybrids will be limited to this model. The company indicated that it will introduce around ten new hybrid models in the early years of the 2010s. In the meantime, the price of the hybrid Auris in Spain will be €20,950 for the Active trim and €23,400 for the Advance trim. However, once regional aid and an initial discount of €1,000 for the first 500 units sold are taken into account, the final price could come down to around €17,000.
