The Lotus Eletre can now be reserved in Europe: here are its price and features

The SUV craze has reached even brands that seemed very far from this possibility. Lotus is not usually associated with a body style like this, so it is surprising to find a model of this type in its lineup. An electric SUV , by the way. This brings it closer to the brand’s innovation and technology ambitions, which makes it more appealing and has turned it into a reality.

In fact, reservations for the Lotus Eletre can already be made across the whole of Europe. There is no price set for Spain yet, but we do know that in Germany it is being sold for 95,990 euros. This figure may give us a clue about its price in our country, and yes, it is not a cheap car, but everything it offers makes it worth what it costs.

Three versions to reserve

This model is offered in three versions: Eletre, Eletre S and Eletre R. The first two use the same electric powertrain. This consists of two electric motors, one on each axle, which provide all-wheel drive and a maximum output of 450 kW, equivalent to 603 CV. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.5 seconds, and the battery powering those two motors has a capacity of 116 kWh. With this capacity, it achieves a range of 600 kilometres.

In the case of the Lotus Eletre R, it also has two electric motors and all-wheel drive, but on this occasion they deliver a total output of 675 kW, equivalent to 902 CV. With this configuration, the time to reach 100 km/h drops to 2.95 seconds. The battery is the same, but with more power, the range is reduced to 490 kilometres.

Equipment

The equipment is very complete, with 22-inch wheels, Matrix wheels, a 15-speaker sound system, parking assistant, adaptive cruise control, active air suspension and continuous damping control. The Lotus Eletre S adds improvements across the whole equipment list of the model and raises the level.

The top-of-the-range Eletre R lets the user enjoy the best on board the vehicle. This makes it a great high-end electric vehicle, offering very complete and attractive equipment.

The price of the Lotus Eletre in Germany, where the tax burden is similar to Spain’s, is as follows:
