The Lotus Evora GTE Road Car Concept will be unveiled at Pebble Beach

In its programme of return to the world’s most important race, Le Mans, Lotus will bring to life the GTE, an Evora designed to compete in the GTE class. But more than one customer with deep enough pockets will have been curious about owning one of these GTEs for the road. That is why the GTE Road Car Concept will be born.

The GTE Road Car Concept will be another candidate to debut at Pebble Beach on Wednesday. And although we won’t be there to tell you more about this creation of the immortal Lotus, to start we can tell you that the GTE will have 420 CV and a sequential racing gearbox.

Although it is a concept, Lotus will put it into production, as it has confirmed. The idea is for this Evora to be essentially a racing car for the road, the next step for those who currently enjoy a “first generation” Evora.

We’ll only have to wait a few more hours to bring you additional details, but I have a feeling they will be worth it.
