The luxury Japanese SUV, now even better and more exclusive: the new Lexus RX range
Lexus improves the flagship of its SUV range, the Lexus RX, which receives upgrades to its equipment, mechanicals and chassis, plus a new and interesting Executive+ trim.

Following the restyling it underwent in 2023, the fifth generation of the Lexus RX now receives a new “boost”, with changes affecting the cabin, the engine range and the equipment. In addition, the Japanese brand adds a new trim variant called Executive+. These are the main updates to the “flagship” of the Lexus SUV range.
More standard equipment and better interior insulation
One of the changes that Lexus customers won’t see, but will notice, is the improved insulation, thanks to the use of a greater amount of sound-absorbing material in key areas such as the air conditioning ducts, the front bulkhead separating the engine bay from the cabin, and the rear section of the bodywork. Among the new standard equipment, the highlight is the new digital instrument cluster, which the brand calls the Lexus Digital Cockpit, with a 12.3-inch screen and three dual display modes that adapt the information and colour to the three driving styles: Eco, Normal and Sport.

Also related to equipment, the RX 450h Executive+ trim is added which, compared with the previous Executive trim, adds a heated leather steering wheel, heated and ventilated rear seats, a radiant heating system and a digital key. This radiant heating, also available on the F Design and Luxury trims, allows front-seat passengers to reach optimal temperature sooner in cold conditions, using specific warm air outlets under the dashboard, at knee height.
As for the mechanical updates, a new and more efficient gasoline particulate filter is adopted, as it captures particles without losing pressure in the exhaust gas flow. Plug-in hybrids also receive a new battery charge level indication system. In addition, the power delivery curve is modified for a better driving experience, and the four-wheel dynamic steering DRS system increases the speed range and intervention in the RX 500h.
