Maserati Quattroporte Sedans Electric Cars
The Maserati Quattroporte faces the future in the form of an electric saloon
The Italian brand has announced that the next version of the Quattroporte will arrive as an electric saloon, with a wide range of engines and equipment.

In 2024, a new version of the Maserati Quattroporte will arrive, completely renewing the flagship saloon of the Italian brand. Those who enjoy the thrill of feeling the power of the striking combustion engine will have to settle for the electric motor that will equip it from then on. It will be no less powerful and will not let the model down, but it will present differences compared to the one you already know.
The first change you will notice is the name. From that point on, it will belong to the Folgore range. This range already includes the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, the Maserati Grecale Folgore, and more electric variants will soon follow, such as the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore and the Maserati MC20 Cielo Folgore.

When this electric variant debuts, it will be the only representative of the brand’s saloon segment, since the Maserati Ghibli will be discontinued in 2024 and no immediate replacement is expected. The Quattroporte will be the successor to several types of saloons, as it will be offered with different engines and equipment levels to broaden the range of potential customers.
In fact, the new saloon aims to position itself against the Mercedes EQE and the BMW i7, two models that sit in different segments. The new Quattroporte wants to be the alternative to these and other similar vehicles, moving from one segment to another thanks to its equipment, batteries and engines.
The platform that will shape this model will be the same one already used in the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore. This features a T-shaped battery mounted in the floor, which helps optimise its weight. A front motor and another on both axles are expected, so there will be options for several driving experiences.
The top-spec version is expected to deliver around 600 CV, while the entry-level version will have 300 CV. As for the price of this new electric Quattroporte, it is expected to start at 130,000 euros and the most expensive version to cost around 200,000 euros. These prices are in line with the rest of the Folgore range, so anyone who wants one of these electrified models will be able to get one without major price differences between them.
