The Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo arrives with a holiday update to GT6

In 1991, Mazda achieved the overall victory at the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, a feat that marked the first win for a rotary engine and for a Japanese car in this prestigious race. In this way, the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo pays tribute to that history.
This Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo will be available in the Gran Turismo 6 game for PlayStation 3 with a special holiday update. To get it, you only need to install the update and purchase it, and you can watch the car’s presentation film. It can also be obtained by completing a lap in the new seasonal event, which will only be available for a limited time.
To design the prototype, the Mazda team blended elegance and agility. Its dynamic silhouette features shapes inspired by the brand’s Kodo design philosophy, including the shape of its front grille, which is characteristic of the Mazda lineup.
The silhouette of the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo recalls the famous 787 B, crossing the boundaries between technology and design, and offering a futuristic vision with a touch of the past, since it took the overall victory at the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo uses lightweight carbon fiber components, including a monocoque chassis covered by a coat of atmospheric white paint.
On top of all this, very advanced technology has been applied to the powertrain, offering power, efficiency and durability, resulting in a balance of power and weight that surpasses that of most vehicles in its category.
