The McLaren MP4-12C makes its public debut at Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed, next weekend, will have a special guest who will be shown to the public for the first time. The McLaren MP4-12C GT3 will show that it wants to leave behind the pleasant memory of the McLaren F1 and that it can be a more than good option for any private team.
The GT3’s first official unveiling will be a step prior to the development of the car for competition, which will take place over the remainder of this year in a British endurance category. Once homologated, a special production run of 20 cars will go to unofficial GT3 teams preparing for the 2012 season.
