The Mercedes-Benz Class X 350d with diesel V6 engine available from 55,964 euros
Presented at the recent Geneva Motor Show, the most powerful diesel option of the new Mercedes-Benz Class X will arrive in October with two trim levels

The arrival of the Mercedes-Benz Class X marked a revolution for the brand, becoming its first model of this kind, a model that Mercedes considered necessary in view of the growth in sales that pick-ups have seen in recent years. The Class X, like all new models, went on sale with base engines and, precisely on the occasion of the recent Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes presented the most powerful variant with a diesel engine.
This variant is finally reaching the various European markets under the designation 350d 4MATIC, which uses a six-cylinder V6 diesel engine delivering a power output of 258 CV and a torque of 550 Nm, paired with the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic gearbox and, as is only to be expected, permanent four-wheel drive 4MATIC from Mercedes. With this engine the Mercedes Class X achieves figures unusual for a pick-up, as it accelerates to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds; in addition, its consumption will be around 9 litres per 100 kilometres.

Like its siblings the Renault Alaskan and the Nissan Navara, along with the rest of the pick-ups on the market, the Class X 350d 4MATIC has nothing to envy in any other car from the brand, including practically the same comforts and luxuries. We will even have, as standard, the Mercedes Dynamic Select system, which provides the Comfort, ECO, Sport, Manual and Offroad modes to achieve a different response from the engine and gearbox. We will also have the 4MAT, 4H and 4L modes for the 4MATIC traction, which allow us to move from relaxed driving on asphalt to tackling the roughest terrain without much difficulty, thanks to the combination of the inter-axle differential lock, the rear axle differential lock and the reduction gearbox.
The Mercedes Class X 350d 4MATIC will be offered in two trim levels that differ in exterior styling, equipment and functionality. On one hand we will have the Progressive line, aimed at customers seeking the greatest possible comfort in the Class X and a more understated look, which comes with the following standard equipment:

On the other hand we will have the
Power trim line
, which stands out for giving greater priority to design, comfort and performance, aimed at those who want a Class X pick-up for getting around the city but also for outdoor activities and getaways off the asphalt. Its standard equipment includes the following elements:

- Chrome rear bumper

Either way, what you need to bear in mind is that the Mercedes Class X 350d 4MATIC will not be cheap, with a
starting price of 55,954 euros
. It will be available in Spain from October.
