EQA Mercedes Electric Cars Videos
The Mercedes EQA Concept cruises along the roads of Sicily with its majestic lines
Mercedes continues working hard on developing electric vehicles, such as the EQA, which has been seen driving in video through the streets of Sicily.

The world of electric cars is becoming an everyday occurrence in the automotive industry, since it is an increasingly established type of drivetrain in today’s world. Mercedes is one of those brands that always strive to be at the forefront of technology, something it constantly demonstrates with autonomous driving and is once again doing now with its future electric vehicles. The Mercedes EQA is presented as the concept car that previews some of the electric models that will be part of the brand’s range before long, and today we have been able to get to know it better thanks to this video.
The Mercedes EQA was unveiled at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show and, although almost a year has passed since its debut, the German brand’s concept car continues to generate buzz. It is a 100% electric vehicle that takes the form of a compact and could foreshadow a future electric version of the newly presented A-Class.
Mercedes has treated us to a video of the EQA driving through the streets of Sicily, where its refined and elegant lines can be appreciated in more detail. This model arrives to occupy its future place in the Mercedes lineup with the EQ suffix, a designation that will identify those vehicles that rely on a 100% electric drivetrain as their means of propulsion.

Stylistically, we can see how the star brand has taken the design language applied in this EQA to bring to life some of its most recent production models, such as the new A-Class. We can notice fine, elegant lines, combined with light units that follow the same design pattern, but what draws the most attention on this concept car is the rear. This is achieved thanks to its one-piece rear light unit that runs across the tailgate, providing sobriety and beauty to the whole.
As for the drivetrain, we find two 100% electric motors which work together to deliver a total of 268 CV, more than enough power to give the Mercedes EQA the performance of a sporty compact. At the same time, it has a range of 400 kilometres, matching that of many combustion engines as it will allow us to travel both in urban environments and on the open road.

In this way Mercedes intends to enter the world of electric cars and offer this type of model across the different segments in which it operates. For now the star brand has not confirmed production dates but, while the EQA is not yet a reality, we can welcome with open arms the future Mercedes EQC, the brand’s first electric SUV.
