The Microlino will arrive in Spain through Astara in 2023
The small electric city car will arrive on the Spanish market in early 2023 through the world’s first vehicle distributor.

Some time ago we told you about the Microlino, a small electric car. It is a model designed for urban electric mobility and it has a quirky design. It reminds us of the iconic Isetta, a car whose front is the entrance door to the cabin. The steering wheel and steering column are fixed, and access is simple and practical.
This model was presented three years ago, but it is only now that it is starting to be sold. And the good news is that it will arrive on the Spanish market, in this case thanks to the collaboration agreement signed by Micro, the manufacturer, with Astara. Under this agreement, the company specialised in the distribution of all kinds of vehicles will handle distribution in both Spain and Germany.

A small, practical and affordable car
This model has become one of the most affordable electric cars on the market, because it is designed for getting around the city, although it has a surprise or two that make it far more versatile than one might think. It is not a heavy quadricycle like the Citroën AMI, but a proper electric car.
It has room for two people and a small luggage space of up to 230 litres. It is aimed at urban mobility, which accounts for most daily journeys, so it leaves out everything that is not needed for these trips. The battery is offered in three versions: 6 kWh, 10.4 kWh and 14 kWh. The latter allows it to travel 230 kilometres on a single charge.
The top speed reached by the 17 CV motor is 90 km/h, so it can legally travel on motorways and dual carriageways, which require a minimum speed of 80 km/h. That said, it is not a speed one would recommend for these roads, so it is better suited to city driving and, at most, conventional roads.
The reservations for the Microlino have reached 35,000, and in France it is sold for 14,000 euros, a fairly competitive price for this type of vehicle. It will arrive in Spain in early 2023, although we do not yet know what the price will be in our country.
