Mitsubishi is already preparing the rollout of its new models for the upcoming 2016 Paris Motor Show, which will take place during the first half of October. The Japanese brand has been presenting its latest concepts at the shows of last year, 2015, among which the Mitsubishi Concept XR PHEV II stood out. This electric model was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, while the Tokyo Motor Show witnessed the presentation of the EXConcept.

At the upcoming Paris Motor Show, the Mitsubishi Ground Tourer Concept will be presented, a conceptual SUV that will have a significant presence on the company’s stand at the French event. We don’t have much information about this new vehicle from the brand of the three diamonds, but we can see a teaser of what its design will be. We can say little about what we see, although we know it will maintain and continue the design style and image launched with the previous prototypes.

The new SUV concept arriving in October

Hybrid drive joins the capabilities of this new SUV that we will get to know in the month of OctoberThis design is based on four pillars that maintain the design language of Mitsubishi: expanded possibilities, functional beauty, solid confidence and Japanese craftsmanship. With this, the aim is for the new SUV to be the starting point for a new type of this kind of vehicle, in which hybrid drive becomes a benchmark in this type of vehicle, which are among the most sought-after and chosen by buyers.

We still don’t know what we will find inside this concept model, but we are convinced it will be a continuation of the previous models, seeking to increase the comfort and ease of use of the car. We assume this prototype will feature an increase in driver-assistance systems that will allow the person at the wheel of this car to get the most out of it in any situation.

Several months remain before attending the model’s presentation, but we know that in a few weeks more information about its capabilities will start to arrive. For now, you can tell us what you thought of this preview, in which we spot some design details.
