The only Ferrari Enzo for sale with bare carbon fibre bodywork

Remember the Ferrari Enzo? It is one of the last models built by the Italian brand of the “cavallino rampante” to say “here we are and this is what we can do“. This model can be compared with jewels from the late twentieth century such as the Ferrari F40 or the F50. So it is not just any Ferrari.

The Ferrari Enzo was originally going to have a limited production of 350 units. And so it was, except that the high demand for the Italian hypercar led Ferrari to rethink the number of units, and in the end it produced 50 more cars, the last one, number 400, was donated to the Vatican, where at the time Pope John Paul II was in office.

All 400 units of the Enzo are worthy of admiration, we cannot deny that, but this protagonist is especially more attractive than the rest. At least visually.

The unit we have found for sale was the only one that was not sold with a coloured body. Yes, that’s right, this car has no paint on its exterior. As we can see, Ferrari left this unit bare, showing what the other 399 units did not reveal. What we see is nothing more and nothing less than carbon fibre, which has a thin, invisible protective layer.

In the interior, the colour contrasts stand out between the bright red typical of Ferrari and the black found in many parts of the cabin.

It is now for sale at the Exotic Motors dealership for a price of 3.5 million dollars, which at the exchange rate is worth more than 3.17 million euros. Its condition, as we can see in the images, is practically the same as when it left the factory in 2004. The mileage shown in the car’s advertisement indicates very limited use, with just over 5,000 kilometres covered. The price is not as outrageous as it may seem, since other units (with a coloured body) that have been offered for sale have had a similar price.

Despite being a somewhat unusual unit, do not expect any mechanical changes compared with the rest. It incorporates the same 6-litre V12 without supercharging, which delivers a power output of 660 horsepower at almost 8,000 rpm.
