The most exclusive Maserati Ghibli yet, with the Ribelle special edition, of which only 200 units will be made
Maserati has just announced the arrival of the Ghibli Ribelle, a special edition designed to offer its most loyal customers far more exclusivity.

Sports cars always carry an added sense of exclusivity, which is reflected in their very nature, but on certain occasions manufacturers want to accentuate this side. This is the case with Maserati and its Ghibli, a model that enjoys great success thanks to the traits of an Italian sports car combined with luxury and comfort. However, the trident brand has wanted to go one step further and offer a much more special vehicle, something it has achieved with the creation of the Ribelle special edition.
Maserati has considerably expanded its model range in recent years, where one SUV, two saloons and a sports car are tasked with consolidating the Italian family. However, the trident brand has wanted to highlight a little more one of its best-selling models, the Ghibli, a vehicle that increases and enhances its exclusivity with a series of elements featured in the Ribelle special edition.
The Italian brand has chosen to keep the Ghibli’s mechanical side completely intact and to focus exclusively on the styling, which it has considerably improved. To do so, Maserati has wanted to offer its customers the option of higher-quality trims and special paints that cannot be applied to any other Ghibli outside this exclusive run of just 200 units.

On the one hand, there is a paint called Nero Ribelle, which stands out for offering a different tone from the other black colours available in the standard range. At the same time, the interior has not let go of the exclusivity this limited edition offers either, as Maserati’s designers have used first-class leather to upholster the seats and the interior in black and red, with the aim of creating an eye-catching contrast.
We can also see that aluminium has been used for a series of inserts, which give a cleaner and more refined look. For those who want to go a step further, Maserati customers can opt for the Ribelle Plus pack, which includes tinted and laminated glass, adaptive headlights with Matrix full-LED technology and a sound system signed by Harman Kardon.

As we previewed, this special edition brings no mechanical upgrades, so it can be paired with any of the engines offered on the Maserati Ghibli. This means we can power this sporty saloon either with the 275 CV diesel V6 or with either of the two petrol engines in the range, producing 340 and 430 CV respectively. Either way, Maserati has announced that only 200 units will be built, and these will carry a starting price of 92,200 euros in Spain.
