Many vehicles have been left behind even though they played an important role in automotive history. At the same time, though, many brands work to keep their most veteran models in top condition, whether for a museum or for a private owner. This is the case of Citroën Heritage, the classic-car department of the French firm, which is dedicated to preserving them in perfect condition.

On the other hand, Citroën Heritage also acts as the brand’s museum, and its interior holds not only classic cars but also unique and exclusive models. Within the exhibition you can find everything from military vehicles to concept cars that never saw the light of day, or vehicles of which only a very small number were produced.

But Citroën wants to make the dream of many come true and that is why it is going to auction some of the brand’s most iconic vehicles. In total, 65 cars will be presented for bidding. This is because the classic-car department is moving to other premises and they want to seize the opportunity to ensure that some of their vehicles fall into good hands and are not lost to oblivion.

The auction, which is run by Damien Leclère, will feature all kinds of models. The iconic and eccentric Sbarro prototypes will be present at the auction, as well as pre-World War II models such as the Citroën B10 or the famous Rosalie. But more familiar and more recent vehicles will also take part, such as a BX, a GS and many more.

This is a unique opportunity for fans of the double-chevron brand who want to get their hands on a classic car. At the same time, they can rest assured that these vehicles have been treated and preserved in perfect condition, since they have received meticulous maintenance.

But that is not all: the price set for the units on display is quite reasonable. Bidders will find models starting from 1,000 up to 20,000 euros. The prototypes will surely fetch a higher value due to their exclusivity and rarity. The auction will take place on the coming 10 December and will offer the chance to drive away a Citroën with more than twenty years behind it. The brand will show the vehicles up for auction to prospective buyers one day before the event, on 9 December.
