New Toyota Land Cruiser: this is the new, most radical 4x4
The new Toyota Land Cruiser arrives to take on the 2018 range and conquer the SUV market. Its starting price is from 36,050 euros up to 55,600 euros.

The world of SUVs is increasingly embracing the position of a versatile and luxurious vehicle. This is demonstrated by features suited to tackling any type of terrain while also offering the ability to travel in comfort. This is the case of the Toyota Land Cruiser, one of the off-road vehicles par excellence, which has been completely renewed to face the year 2018.
The Toyota Land Cruiser has been the benchmark of the segment for more than 60 years, but to keep that position, a series of changes over the previous model have been necessary. The new SUV from the Japanese firm adopts a more refined and elegant look, which conveys a great deal of exclusivity.
We find a full redesign of the front and rear, where the lighting units have been renewed, giving the Land Cruiser a more modern and rejuvenated touch. Although the structure of the car remains very similar to that of the previous model, the aesthetic changes help the Land Cruiser achieve a line that can hold up well over time.

Its interior has also undergone some changes. The use of materials remains first-class, guaranteeing exquisite comfort on the road. But what stands out most in the whole is a new eight-inch screen with which the entire infotainment system of the Land Cruiser can be operated. Furthermore, heated and ventilated seats have also been added to both the front and rear.
Even so, the whole vehicle has to be moved, and to fulfil that task, Toyota relies on a 2.8 D-4D turbodiesel engine that delivers 177 CV. This powertrain can be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. But the new Land Cruiser has not been designed only for comfortable journeys; it is also built to tackle tricky terrain and for that it features its improved all-wheel-drive system.
This new system works in such a way that the driver can choose between two variants for the rear differential: open or Torsen-type Limited Slip Differential (LSD). In this way, the new Land Cruiser will be able to get out of practically any situation with ease. To help with this, the Toyota SUV features the Multi-Terrain Select System, which allows different driving modes to be selected depending on the circumstances.

The new Land Cruiser arrives with the latest technological equipment and will be available at our dealership in the coming days. Prices for the new SUV start from 36,050 euros if chosen as a commercial variant and, for private use, it has a starting price of 40,600 euros for the three-door version and 44,600 euros for the five-door version. The corresponding price for the top-of-the-range Land Cruiser is 55,600 euros.
