The most sporty Captur ever, with the limited S-Edition
Renault has just unveiled the limited-edition Captur called the S-Edition. It comes with extensive standard equipment and a new 150 CV TCe engine.

Exclusivity doesn’t have to be reserved solely for the most special and exotic vehicles, since it can also be achieved by giving a model a new trait. This is what has happened with the Renault Captur, which has adopted a far more sporty stance thanks to the addition of the limited S-Edition, which enhances the most radical attributes of the French SUV. This is reflected both in its mechanics and in its styling, two areas that have worked together to offer a new approach.
The diamond brand wanted to celebrate one of its star products and, at the same time, give it an even more special essence. Thanks to the S-Edition, the Captur gains not only in styling but also in dynamics, through the addition of a new powertrain. However, Renault wants to offer its customers not only a sportier setup, but also much more complete and attractive standard equipment.
The Captur looks as fresh and youthful as ever, but it adopts certain measures to accentuate its natural traits even further. To achieve this, the French crossover features 17-inch alloy wheels and, at the same time, both the front and rear bumpers include certain elements painted in gun metal, which contrast perfectly with the exterior paint called Azul Rayo. To extend the possible combinations, Renault also lets customers choose a platinum grey or black roof, with the aim of giving the Captur S-Edition a more personal touch.

The interior also features a number of very interesting innovations, such as the exclusive TEP Alcantara upholstery and aluminium pedals, two elements that help further emphasise the sporty character of this very special Captur. At the same time, the S-Edition also has a clear commitment to technology, which is demonstrated by the inclusion of a rear-view camera, the connected R-Link Evolution multimedia system with European mapping, or blind-spot warning, among others.
Without a doubt, Renault has wanted to put its best into the mechanics, since the Captur S-Edition includes a new 150 CV TCe engine, which can be paired with either a manual gearbox or an EDC automatic. Thanks to this powertrain, the Captur can unleash its sportier side, but the brand has also thought of customers who prefer a more relaxed driving style and who, at the same time, do not want to give up the exclusivity of this limited edition.

That is why the 120 CV TCe and 110 CV dCi engines can also be fitted to the S-Edition, which will allow the brand to broaden its range of options. As a result, the most exclusive Captur comes with several price points, starting at 19,996 euros -the figure corresponding to the 120 CV TCe Captur with manual gearbox- and rising to 22,500 euros for the sportiest version. If we opt for the diesel Captur S-Edition, we will have to pay 21,517 euros.
