The new Audi A3 is not wasting any time and already has its price set for Spain

It was only a few days ago that Audi presented the update it has given one of its illustrious models, the A3, a compact that now receives a restyle which, to be honest, is quite superficial and would largely go unnoticed if it weren’t for the fact that the German brand took the opportunity to expand this model’s range with the A3 Allstreet, a new name for a model that follows the crossover line of the A4 and A6 Allroad.

We can now order it at Spanish dealerships and, as we already told you, the new Audi A3 does not stand out for major exterior changes, as these are limited to a new design for the Singleframe grille and new bumpers inspired by the RS versions, meaning the air intakes are now larger. We will also be able to choose from new colours added to the palette, such as Daytona Grey.

As for the Audi A3 Allstreet, this new model is clearly distinguishable from the rest of the range on the outside. Its Singleframe grille features a honeycomb mesh and is painted matt black, along with details that emphasise its off-road character, such as the front spoiler that simulates an underbody guard, the same at the rear with the diffuser, the side skirts, the wheel arches with black trim, or the roof rails. Furthermore, its suspension raises it 15 mm compared with the A3 Sportback, and it has specific settings, also giving it a ground clearance 30 mm greater.

Audi will offer the new A3 in four different trim levels, the entry-level trim being called Advanced, which includes as standard features such as the following:

• Multifunction leather steering wheel plus
• Gear-shift paddles
• Audi virtual cockpit
• Audi smartphone interface

One step up is the S Line trim, which adds to the above as standard, for an extra €2,800, a more dynamic and sporty look and driving experience, with elements such as the following:

• 18-inch alloy wheels
• Flat-bottomed steering wheel
• Audi drive select dynamic driving system
• Sport suspension
• Ambient plus lighting package
• Sport front seats
• S rear spoiler
• Aluminium sill trims
• Audi Singleframe grille in titanium black
• Chrome trim on the exhaust outlets
• Aluminium pedals

This look can be made even sportier for an additional €3,050 by opting for the Black Line or Genuine trims, with the former including elements such as the following:

• 19-inch five-double-spoke wheels in anthracite black with bright turned finish
• Dynamic microfibre and synthetic leather upholstery
• Black styling package
• Tinted rear windows
• Black wing mirror housings
• Black Singleframe grille

The Genuine trim, meanwhile, adds the following standard equipment to the S Line trim:

• 18-inch Audi Sport wheels in a Y-design five-double-spoke layout with metallic black finish
• Matrix LED headlights
• Metallic paint
• Comfort package:
  • Four-way lumbar support for the front seats
  • Reversing camera
  • Comfort key without Safelock
  • Electric tailgate with sensor-activated opening
  • Assisted parking system
  • Adaptive cruise speed assist system

As it is already on sale, the new Audi A3 can for now only be chosen with two engines for any of its three bodystyles (Sportback, Sedan and Allstreet). On one hand there is the 35 TFSI engine, a 1,500 cc petrol mild-hybrid with 150 CV and a seven-speed S Tronic automatic gearbox; on the other hand there is the diesel version of this model called the 35 TDI, which produces the same power and has the same gearbox. Later, in the second quarter, versions with a manual gearbox and different power outputs will arrive, followed by the plug-in hybrid engines and the powerful RS3 at the end of the year.

The new Audi A3 can now be ordered in Spain with a price starting at €36,580 for the 35 TFSI engine, while the 35 TDI engine starts at €38,660.
