For the past three years, the models that have been launched under the umbrella of Renault have featured a new design language. Each model that has arrived over these three years has added this new design and given the brand a fresh image. Until now, we knew nothing more about it than the fact that the models arriving were dressed in it.

The design language of these new models has been refined over the years, as the brand’s engineers have added the components and styles that define the brand, with changes to the image. It has taken us a while to learn formally what those changes consisted of, but we now know that everything is due to the incorporation of the signature “Renault, Passion for life“.

The change began with the Renault Clio, followed by the Captur, the Twingo, the Kadjar and now the All-new Espace, which has been the latest to benefit from this change. However, new versions of the brand’s models are being prepared, which will feature this modernized and more up-to-date look.

But this new identity language will not be limited to the design of the new models that will be arriving. Renault is going to take a step forward and is going to change its entire corporate image starting this April. From these days on, we will witness how the Renault brand changes and evolves across all communication media.

The change will be present in advertising, physical billboards, television commercials, but also on the brand’s websites, its image at events, derived products and even on the uniforms of the technical service staff.

These changes go hand in hand with those seen on the cars. That is, the classic diamond that identifies the brand will become more powerful and larger, as it appears on the front of the cars. In addition, the brand’s typography will also be changed. The yellow color is more vivid and will be present in a vertical band beside the diamond. According to the Renault design team, the goal is to create a more emotional relationship between the brand and the buyer, reinforcing this almost affective bond.

It remains to be seen how the brand’s environment changes to absorb all these novelties, which will be presented at the General Assembly of the Renault Group, to be held at the end of April, which will showcase the new image for the Renault, Dacia and Renault Samsung Motors brands.
