The new electric vehicle from Mitsubishi promises to be an SUV for enjoying free time
The new electric prototype from Mitsubishi is an SUV that offers the possibility of enjoying a few days of outdoor adventure in comfort.

The trend of building camper vans is taking over the major brands, and more and many of them now offer this type of vehicle directly from the brand itself. Mitsubishi is joining this strategy and has announced the launch of an electric SUV designed not only to tackle rough terrain, but also to offer a space to rest and spend a few days outdoors.
This vehicle will debut at the Japan Mobility Show, where it will be presented. For now, we do not yet have the name of this prototype, although we do have some details of its design. What we have seen is the rear, which features a strip of LED lights spanning the full width of the back.

The distributed images do not show a rear window, although that does not mean it lacks one. A reinforced structure can be seen on the lower part. We can also see robust tyres, large wheel arches and dark plastic cladding that reveal its off-road spirit.

Another image shows the interior of the rear of the vehicle. In it we can see a large double bed, covered by pleasant ambient lighting that adds a touch of calm and relaxation. This is meant to show the capacity to offer a comfortable space for enjoying restful nights on an outdoor getaway.
But the rear space of the electric SUV proposed by Mitsubishi goes beyond this configuration. In fact, it can be changed and turned into something completely different, according to the user’s needs. Although it is a concept model, it may end up becoming a production model. If not, many of the proposals in this model may end up appearing in other models from the brand.
At the event, Mitsubishi will also present the new Delica Mini and the Kei Car eK Space, the Outlander PHEV SUV and the Delica D:5 minivan. The Triton Rally Car, which triumphed at the 2025 Asia Cross Country Rally, will also be present.
