Ferrari Convertibles Sports Cars
The new Ferrari 296 GTS has arrived, the new convertible from the Maranello marque
The Maranello marque has unveiled the new Ferrari 296 GTS. Shall we get to know it better?

We already know the new Ferrari 296 GTS, and its Spider version lets you enjoy the journey. It now also features a hybrid powertrain that allows it to travel up to 25 kilometres in fully electric mode. The retractable hard top can be opened or closed in just 14 seconds. It is worth mentioning that the mechanism can be activated while driving at speeds of up to 45 km/h.
The designers of the new model from the Maranello house have reworked the rear so that it keeps its sporty style when the roof is folded away. Nevertheless, the cooling features of the Ferrari 296 GTB have had to be maintained. The new Ferrari 296 GTS is a plug-in hybrid that combines a twin-turbo V6 engine with 663 CV of power with a 167 CV electric motor.
Combined power rises to 830 CV, and maximum torque is 740 Nm. It has a 7.45 kWh battery and a range of 25 kilometres. The sports car has four driving modes: eDrive, which switches off the combustion engine until the battery is depleted; Hybrid, which prioritises efficiency; and Performance and Qualify.

Everything we know about the Ferrari 296 GTS
The new Ferrari 296 GTS measures 4.56 metres in length, stands 1.19 metres tall, and can reach a top speed of 330 km/h. Its 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is 2.9 seconds. Notably, when travelling at 200 km/h it can brake to a standstill in 107 metres.
Think that’s not enough? The marque of the Cavallino Rampante offers the Assetto Fiorano package. This upgrade reduces weight and improves the model’s aerodynamics even further. To achieve this, the marque has used carbon fibre both inside and outside, and several elements have been redesigned to improve dynamic behaviour and cut up to eight kilograms of weight.
Within this special package you can choose Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R tyres, grip rubber that is ideal for driving the new Ferrari 296 GTS.
