The new Fiat Panda breaks sales record in a single weekend

Interesting news from our colleagues at Autoblog: Italian Fiat dealerships have held their first open-door weekend and received a massive turnout of people interested in the new Fiat Panda.

The Italian city dweller was the star, as 55,000 families who were interested in buying one visited the network of 685 Italian dealerships. Over the whole weekend, 6,500 test drives of the car were carried out and ultimately 14,000 firm orders for the model were placed.

These are really good figures for these times, and the Panda has been well received in the Italian market, and the experience will be repeated again this weekend.
