Hyundai i20 Salón de París Urban
The new Hyundai i20 begins to reveal itself with two sketches

Hyundai and Kia apparently are going to follow a very similar strategy to unveil two of their most important premieres at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Last Tuesday, the new Sorento was glimpsed in a pair of images that previewed the main lines of the third generation of the SUV. Today, the new Hyundai i20 has also appeared in the form of two sketches that the South Korean brand has just published.
According to Hyundai, the design of this generation of the i20, conceived at its European centre located in Rüsselsheim, reflects its new design language called “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0“. From what can be seen in the images, the European version will ultimately not differ much from the one that will be available in the Asian market, except perhaps for the interior, which will feature higher-quality materials.

The front features more angular headlights that extend further along the upper part of the front grille, a grille with a hexagonal shape and a chrome outline, slightly smaller fog lights, and more pronounced lines. The upper side character line no longer dips downward before reaching the rear light but merges into it, while the lower one is quite more subtle than on the current i20.
Another feature of the profile is that the rear side windows create the impression of being joined to the rear glass because the C-pillars have been painted black. At the rear, the tail lights and the rear bumper have been redesigned, and the tailgate opening appears to have gained width.
