The new Megane E-TECH arrives, with wallbox and free charging card

The new Renault Megane E-TECH electric, which left us with such a good impression in the road test carried out on the occasion of its international presentation, arrives on the Spanish market. In that test we shared our driving impressions and a buying guide with prices and equipment. The electric compact from the diamond brand has been very well received, accumulating a backlog of more than 10,000 orders from customers who decided to reserve it without even having had the chance to try it or see it in person.

The new Megane E-TECH electric is now arriving at the brand’s dealerships, and it does so with a “plan” that Renault has named “E-TECH Full Electric”.

Free wallbox and installation, and a charging card with a 100-euro balance

This plan, included with the purchase of the electric Megane E-TECH, includes a 7.4 kW home wallbox from Mobilize Power Solutions, as well as its installation, which is an additional advantage for customers. In addition, Renault also offers the Mobilize Charge Pass card, which gives access to more than 2,600 public charging points in Spain (and around 300,000 in Europe), and comes preloaded with a 100-euro balance for free use.

Another service included with the purchase of the Renault electric Megane E-TECH is the so-called “energy assistance” service: the battery has an 8-year warranty, with a limit of 160,000 km, and during those eight years, if the customer runs out of charge while driving, Renault takes care of moving the vehicle to the nearest charging point.

In addition to these services, customers of Renault can take out for the electric Megane E-TECH the new Renault Care 5 plan, which for 750 euros includes 5 years of warranty, 5 years of roadside assistance and 5 years of maintenance, with a complete vehicle inspection.
