The new Mercedes-Benz Citan Tourer goes on sale, and these are its prices
Mercedes-Benz opens the order book for the renewed Citan Tourer, the version for professionals and families, whose prices in Spain we already know

Only a few days ago, Mercedes-Benz presented the new generation of its “Small Van” , the Citan, a van that has been renewed in terms of both its styling and the incorporation of the latest technological and safety advances. As the brand promised, its arrival at dealerships is imminent, so we can now know its prices in our country.
For the time being, the version that will be available is the Citan Tourer, that is, the version with seats, which can be used both by professionals and by private customers who want it for transporting their family or for leisure. The Mercedes-Benz Citan Tourer has compact dimensions, its length is 4,498 mm, but with a spacious interior that can serve both as a work vehicle and for families, and indeed its interior offers capacity for five people.

The styling of the new Mercedes-Benz Citan Tourer, as we already discussed a few days ago, has evolved toward smoother and more modern lines, especially thanks to the front end, which houses a new grille, bumper and a light unit with a more integrated design. On the sides of the Tourer version, two sliding doors can be fitted on each side, which offer a wide opening of 615 mm, while at the rear it comes as standard with a tailgate and rear window, although those who prefer it can fit the double rear doors, which allow each one to open 180º.

The trim levels of the new Mercedes-Benz Citan Tourer will be BASE, the entry-level functional trim with all the basic equipment, and PRO, the trim featuring more streamlined design elements and extended equipment. Naturally, both of these can be expanded with the list of available options, among which we can highlight features carried over from the brand’s passenger cars, such as the Thermotronic two-zone automatic climate control, electric parking brake, multifunction steering wheel, MBUX with Touch Control Buttons, or the wireless smartphone charging system, among many other things.

We must also not forget that the Citan Tourer can now incorporate many of the driver assistance and support systems of the brand’s passenger cars, such as the crosswind assist, fatigue warning, emergency call, active brake assist, active lane change detector, blind spot control and speed limit indicator with sign detection.

From the moment it goes on sale, the Mercedes-Benz Citan Tourer will be available with the 110 CDI diesel engine of 1,500 cc and a power output of 95 CV together with a torque of 260 Nm; while for those who opt for petrol there are the 110 and 113 versions, consisting of a 1,400 cc engine with power outputs of 102 CV and 131 CV and torque of 200 Nm and 240 Nm respectively. All of them are linked to a six-speed manual transmission although, from mid-2022, a seven-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission will also be available as an option.
