The new Mercedes-Benz T-Class can now be ordered in Spain, and these are its prices
Mercedes has wasted no time in opening the order book for its new T-Class MPV, whose price we already know and which will arrive next month

Only a few days ago, at the end of last month, Mercedes unveiled its new MPV, the T-Class, a vehicle that will stand out for its versatility and extensive standard equipment from its entry-level version, aimed at families and lovers of leisure with a more touring-oriented approach than the Citan, which is geared more towards professionals. The new Mercedes-Benz T-Class has not kept us waiting long: it is already available in Spain, where we already know its price.
The new Mercedes T-Class has been developed thanks to the collaboration between the Mercedes star brand and Renault, as the new German MPV makes use of the CMF-C platform from the French manufacturer. For the time being it can only be configured and ordered in the short-wheelbase version, with a length of 4,500 mm, which has five seats inside, although a long-wheelbase version will be available later that adds a third row of seats to bring the total to seven.

In terms of styling, it is worth remembering that the Mercedes T-Class aims to look as much as possible like the German brand’s passenger cars, thus distancing itself from the family of commercial vehicles. On the exterior, its front grille, a feature of Mercedes, stands out, with chrome details such as its surround, the double sliding side doors that will greatly facilitate access to the rear seats, or the tailgate that gives access to a spacious boot ranging from 520 litres up to 2,100 litres when the seats are folded down, as well as various elements painted in the body colour, such as the door handles and the wing mirrors.

Inside, the occupants of the Mercedes T-Class will feel they are on board any other car from the brand, in which the MBUX system stands out, consisting of a 7-inch touchscreen, which will also be accompanied by another 5.5-inch screen in the instrument cluster alongside the analogue dials. Standard equipment includes leatherette upholstery, along with other features such as:
- Blind spot warning
- Pre-collision warning
- Active brake assist
- Hill start assist
- Crosswind assist
- Fatigue detection
- Lane change detection
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- Air conditioning
- Multifunction steering wheel
- Keyless-Go
- Front electric windows
- DAB digital radio
- Bluetooth
- USB connection

Based on the entry-level Mercedes version, it offers two styling lines. The first, called Style, adds mixed upholstery combining fabric and leather, tinted rear windows, seats with lumbar adjustment, LED interior lights with eight colours, a mirror for viewing the rear seats, chrome inserts, and folding tables on the seatbacks, among other features. The next line is called Progressive and adds LED headlights, exterior chrome trim, leather upholstery including the steering wheel, and matt black interior inserts.

Mechanically, the new Mercedes-Benz T-Class will be available with a 1,300 cc petrol engine and a 1,500 cc diesel engine, both four-cylinder, in two power levels. The petrol engine will be available with 102 or 136 CV of power, while the diesel will come in 95 or 116 CV, all paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, with an optional seven-speed DCT gearbox available later for an additional €2,296.

Mercedes is already accepting orders for the new T-Class in Spain, with the first units expected to reach dealerships from next month, priced from €28,062 including VAT and transport for the T 160 equipped with the 102 CV petrol engine and manual gearbox.
