Countryman MINI Hybrid Cars Compact
The new MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 will go on sale in the summer
The new MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 will have a high-voltage battery that can be recharged in just 3 hours. It will be a hybrid with an output of 224 CV

MINI will launch its first hybrid model on the market: the new MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4. The first plug-in model from the British premium brand can run in 100% electric mode, with no polluting emissions whatsoever. From 24 June 2017 it will be available at all MINI dealerships.
The hybrid system designed by MINI uses a small three-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine and an electric motor, which together deliver a combined output of 224 CV. This performance allows the new MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 7 seconds.

The combustion engine delivers power to the front wheels and the electric motor to the rear wheelsThe power from the petrol engine is transmitted to the front wheels through a six-speed Steptronic gearbox. The electric motor, meanwhile, sends its power to the rear axle. The intelligent interaction of the powertrain gives the all-wheel-drive system excellent stability on the road, especially in off-road conditions.
When we set off, the electric motor starts the car silently but with all its torque available. The new MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 is the first model from the British brand to offer an electric-only range of 40 kilometres with zero emissions. If we accelerate above 80 km/h, the combustion engine switches on smoothly to enter hybrid driving mode. The energy needed for this is stored in a high-voltage lithium-ion battery located under the rear seat. It can be recharged from a domestic socket in just over 3 hours. The battery of the MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 comes with an extensive warranty of 6 years or 100,000 km.

The standard equipment of the new MINI “large compact” includes a three-spoke sports steering wheel. The MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 will have an average consumption between 2.1 and 2.3 l/100 km.
