The third generation of the MINI is ready for launch, but the brand owned by the BMW group is keeping us waiting, building anticipation with each passing day.
This time, just a week before its global presentation, they have shown us a video in which we can make out the car’s lines, with emphasis on the lighting of this charming model.
As we reported a few weeks ago, the new MINI will reach the market packed with technology, completely redesigned and with new capabilities. From the chassis to the interior, everything is new, all aimed at making driving an even more distinctive experience.
The MINI introduces a new platform, specifically the UKL1, shared with BMW, which will allow for a more solid and economical construction. The engines are also new, and for the first time in this model, a three-cylinder engine can be chosen.

The interior also changes completely, with a roomier and higher-quality cabin (two critical points of the previous generation). In addition, the third generation of the MINI will be especially technologically advanced, thanks to the arrival of a host of electronic equipment typical of higher-end ranges.
An example of this modernization is the active hood, which will minimize injuries in pedestrian impacts at speeds up to 55 km/h. Other features will include the Head-Up display and the high beam assistant, capable of automatically varying the light beam to always achieve the greatest possible range. If equipped with an automatic gearbox and navigation, the control unit will have GPS data to adapt the transmission to terrain changes before they occur.
We will have all the details at the official presentation, scheduled for November 18.
