The new Mondeo will feature a new and revolutionary LED lighting technology
The Mondeo arriving in Europe soon will feature the new LED lighting technology, which is being used more and more and which will make this model the first from the American brand to use it in Europe

The use of headlights has undergone many changes, from the earliest vehicles to the latest models on the market. The most recent technology used in vehicles is LED lighting, which is becoming very popular in current models. At first it was used as daytime running lights, but it is now also being used for low-beam and high-beam headlights.
The Ford Mondeo features this type of lighting, designed to improve headlight efficiency, based not only on effectiveness but also on design. The new Mondeo will be the first model from the American manufacturer to feature this type of headlight in Europe.
The headlights of the new Ford Mondeo give the car a fresh look, with more elegant headlights that are better integrated into the front of the model. Its lines have become more pleasing and streamlined, offering a more dynamic and sporty appearance.
But the efficiency of the Mondeo’s headlights goes beyond design and offers a series of technological advantages that improve the use of light while driving. The possibilities offered by LED technology help drivers travel at night while avoiding situations we encounter with other technologies.
The grouping of diodes into clusters allows light to be emitted in different ways depending on driving needs. They can be partially activated when oncoming vehicles approach, avoiding glare without losing headlight effectiveness. Furthermore, in bends, it detects the manoeuvre and intelligently illuminates the turn, also avoiding dazzling oncoming drivers.
Speed and road conditions are key elements of this technology. By measuring speed, the LED lighting system acts in one way or another, offering one type of light or another. Everything happens automatically, getting the maximum performance from headlights that produce a very intense light, without disrupting the traffic of other vehicles on the road.
