The new Nissan Juke Enigma is the pioneering special edition to incorporate Amazon Alexa

There is no more elegant colour than black, which is why, both in its purest form and combined with related colours such as its opposite, white, and the fusion of the two, grey, together with the enjoyment on board, the Nissan Juke Enigma special edition is available at dealerships from this January as the most seductive variant.

And indeed, on the one hand, the exterior revision and modification of the Enigma special edition of the Nissan Juke includes attractions such as the spectacular 19-inch Akari alloy wheels, given the two-tone bodywork in which the aforementioned black colour is the protagonist. A presence that is even more discreet yet, at the same time, exciting thanks to the darkened rear windows and a touch of distinction provided by the “ENIGMA” vinyls and logos that identify this series.

In its cabin, as standard, black is once again co-protagonist and appears on sporty seats in the front row, which feature fabric upholstery in this colour and also in grey that combine perfectly with the elegance of the synthetic leather covering the door panels and the instrument cluster, matching the leather present on the steering wheel and the gear knob, which lines up with the front centre armrest with glovebox and storage compartment.

As for the technology package, the Nissan Juke Enigma comes with automatic climate control, a multifunction steering wheel with cruise control and speed limiter, traffic sign recognition linked to the aforementioned cruise control, lane keeping assist with intervention, and other features related to habitability and comfort such as keyless entry and start, a voice command recognition system but, above all, the greatest attraction comes with the inclusion of the Amazon Alexa system.

For the first time this model is compatible with this technology so that, in addition to the usual features of Android and iOS systems, from the Enigma special edition of the Nissan Juke, Alexa will be part of the on-board equipment of the popular Japanese crossover thanks to compatibility with the Nissan Skill system that this application enables.

Thanks to this tool, users of the Nissan Juke Enigma will be able to manage vehicle information remotely from their home device, allowing them to know in real time, for example, the vehicle’s range according to the amount of fuel available in the tank and the journey to be made calculated using the NissanConnect navigation system with TomTom Traffic.

It is also possible to ask Alexa where the vehicle is parked or to switch on the vehicle’s lights, the locking or unlocking status of the doors… in total, up to 13 personalised voice commands that Amazon’s technology recognises for the Nissan Juke Enigma.

Marketing and price of the Nissan Juke Enigma

As we indicated, the first units of the Enigma special version of the Nissan Juke are already available at Spanish dealers with a recommended retail price from 26,481 euros but, it should be noted that, in a special way, the current offer means that the price of the Nissan Juke Enigma starts from 22,881 euros as an offer.

In any case, the price of the Enigma special edition of the Nissan Juke is linked to a single available engine, the 1.0 DIG-T petrol of 114 CV, which can be paired either with the cheapest configuration’s 6-speed manual gearbox or with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission that raises the recommended RRP to 28,143 euros or 24,543 € promotional price, in any case always being a front-wheel drive 4×2 configuration.
