The new Porsche 911 Turbo S is unveiled in spy photos
The new Porsche 911 Turbo S will be presented at the next Geneva Motor Show, although spy photos have revealed the most performance-oriented version of the sports car
A few months ago, we tested the new generation of the Porsche 911, whose internal designation is 992. This model already seemed definitive to us, and its behaviour made it impossible not to fall in love with it.
However, the most performance-oriented version was still to come, the one that makes your heart race as soon as you hear its name. We are talking about the Porsche 911 Turbo S, and all enthusiasts of the Stuttgart sports car have March marked on their calendars.
The reason is that the Porsche 911 Turbo S will be one of the most anticipated new releases at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. However, a few days before, we can bring you a preview, as the brand’s next launch has been fully revealed in what appears to be a storage facility of the brand.
The spy photos reveal the Porsche 911 Turbo S in full
This pre-production model can hardly disguise itself: the bumpers are more aggressive and, at the front, it features new air intakes. Another hallmark of the Turbo models is the air intakes behind the rear doors, an element that makes the waistline even more attractive and that has been present on the model since the 964 generation.

The rear also has elements that set it apart from a standard Porsche 911 Carrera, namely a new, generously sized retractable spoiler. In addition, the rear bumper features a new diffuser with more pronounced shapes and the two large oval exhaust tailpipes at the ends. To top it off, there are also new air outlets at the ends of the bumper.
Furthermore, the main proof that we are looking at the crowning glory of the 911 range is the stripe running along the lower part of the car’s side, and if we look closely, the 911 Turbo S designation leaves little room for doubt.
The most sporty version in the range
Under the bonnet, there will be a flat-six boxer engine with two turbochargers to power it. With all this, it appears it will produce 570 CV in the Turbo version and could rise to 640 CV in the Turbo S by tweaking the electronics and the boost pressure of its turbos.
Therefore, we will have to wait a few days for the brand to publish official data on the most performance-oriented version of its most iconic model. We will also be able to look at it more closely, although in broad terms we already know what it will be like.
Not only that, but it seems the brand’s sports car is set to deliver more than one surprise in the coming years, and we have recently asked ourselves whether we will see an electric Porsche 911 in the future.
