The new Toyota GR86 is now available in Spain and can be yours from 32,900 euros
The new generation of the Toyota GR86 is now available in Spain. It delivers 234 CV and 250 Nm of peak torque. Do you want one?

The Japanese brand has just unveiled the new new Toyota GR86 in Spain. The new generation of the sports car will reach dealerships over the coming weeks with a starting price of 32,900 euros. It is worth noting that this model completes the trio of “pure breed” sports cars from the Japanese manufacturer.
Now, the new Toyota GR86 features a stiffer body, a lower centre of gravity and a more powerful powertrain than its predecessor. According to Toyota, the aim of this is to “deliver an even more rewarding driving experience”. The brand has chosen the Monteblanco Circuit, in La Palma del Condado, Huelva, for the European launch of the Toyota GR86.
We know all the secrets of the Toyota GR86

As the brand itself has stated, “the new GR86 has been designed with pure driving pleasure in mind, like an analogue car for the digital age. GR86 is the new entry point into the GR range of Toyota, and allows a wider audience to enjoy a sporty driving feel and performance. Based on the GT86, the model that marked Toyota’s return to building sports cars since its arrival on the market in 2012, the new GR86 retains the classic front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout”.
The new generation of the Toyota GR86 features a naturally aspirated 2.4-litre boxer engine capable of delivering 234 CV at 7,000 rpm and 250 Nm of peak torque at 3,700 rpm. It can also accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. The powertrain is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox tuned to deliver a “smooth yet powerful acceleration”.

Some of its features derive from competition and it retains some nods to the Toyota 2000GT and the Toyota AE86. Notably, aluminium and other lightweight materials have been used for the chassis. The suspension system has also been optimised and improved, and the aerodynamics of the model have been notably enhanced.
The new Toyota GR86 will only be available in Europe for two years. Its starting price is around 32,900 euros, and in our country the brand will offer drivers two packs to “take the driving experience one step further: one designed for customers who like to drive fast on the road (Touring Pack) and another for those who will use their GR86 on the track (Circuit Pack)”.
