The new Toyota Yaris Electric Hybrid can now be ordered, and these are its prices for Spain

Last September, Toyota announced the new Yaris with important novelties affecting its fourth generation, changes with which the Japanese brand aims for the Yaris to clearly dominate sales in the city car segment, making it not only safer and with improved driving, but also more efficient thanks to the new generation of its hybrid system.

The Toyota Yaris Electric Hybrid will be the only version marketed in Spain for the time being, beginning its order-taking phase before its mass arrival at the various dealerships across the country. Coinciding with this phase, Toyota will tour Spain for 10 weeks with 11 units of the new Yaris Electric Hybrid, where potential customers can see and test it, so that they ultimately decide on this model and finalize the order.

The new Toyota Yaris Electric Hybrid will be sold in four trim levels in our country, with the Business Plus aimed at vehicle fleets, such as rental companies. The other three trim levels, to which a special launch edition will be added, focus on private customers and include standard equipment such as:

• Active Tech: front, central, side and curtain airbags; Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 driver assistance systems package; 15-inch alloy wheels; leather steering wheel; keyless entry and start; rear view camera; light and rain sensors; geolocation system (DCM); infotainment system with 8-inch screen and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; emergency call system (e-Call) and connected services with the MyT app.
• Style: Its design will be more streamlined thanks to the front grille in black with dark chrome trim and 17-inch wheels, but it also adds to the previous equipment Full LED headlights; mixed leather and fabric upholstery; leather on the gear lever and knob and dual-zone climate control.
• Style Plus: It incorporates the same design solutions as the previous one but, in addition to the equipment described above, adds a Head-Up Display with a 10-inch screen; wireless smartphone charger; JBL sound system with 8 speakers; Blind Spot Monitor (BSM); Parking Brake Assist and navigation system.
• Style Premiere Edition: This is the special launch edition I mentioned, and to the Style Plus equipment it adds the exclusive Coral Red color combined with a black roof, as well as LED interior ambient lighting; exclusive fabric and leather upholstery with contrasting red stitching.

It should be remembered that, in addition to the new design applied, the Toyota Yaris Electric Hybrid will incorporate the new GA-B platform developed from the TNGA platform, as well as a fourth-generation hybrid system consisting of a 1,500 cc gasoline engine from the Dynamic Force family combined with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery, resulting in a combined system output of 116 CV. Despite being more powerful, the new Yaris Electric Hybrid is more efficient, allowing it to achieve a combined consumption of 3.8 l/100 km along with CO2 emissions of 85 g/km.
