The new Volkswagen T-Cross goes on sale in Spain from €17,600

A couple of months ago, Volkswagen finally lifted the curtain on the T-Cross, a new model that joins the already wide range of the VAG Group and will play an important role within the Wolfsburg brand, as it will be the entry-level model for entering this segment with the German brand. With this, the new Volkswagen T-Cross is now available to begin sales in Spain.

With its modern, fresh design, the new Volkswagen T-Cross arrives to win over all those young people looking for a quality compact SUV at a competitive price. Built precisely at the German brand’s plant in Navarre, the new Volkswagen T-Cross goes on sale in Spain and is also celebrating it with a special, limited launch edition, which will feature more complete equipment and design.

The new Volkswagen T-Cross will be available from launch in three trim levels: Edition, Advance and Sport. The first of these, the Edition trim, will be the entry version of the range and will include as standard features such as the Lane Assist and Front Assist systems, as well as a multifunction steering wheel. One step up is the Advance trim, which adds, among other things, Climatronic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and front and rear Park Pilot parking sensors; finally, the Sport trim includes standard equipment such as LED light units, a rear-view camera and the Digital Cockpit.

Mechanically, the new Volkswagen T-Cross will be available with two petrol engines at launch: on the one hand, the 1,000 cc TSI engine delivering 95 CV, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox; on the other, the same engine with 115 CV, which can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG, although this latter engine will only be available from the Advance trim. Later, starting in March, the 1.6 TDI diesel engine producing 95 CV will arrive with a 5-speed manual gearbox, available for the Advance and Sport trims.

As I mentioned a little earlier, the new Volkswagen T-Cross will have a limited launch edition of 300 units called First Edition, paired with the 1.0 TSI engine producing 115 CV with the six-speed manual gearbox, and a very complete equipment list:

The new Volkswagen T-Cross can now be ordered, with prices starting at €17,600 including discounts and promotions, while the limited T-Cross First Edition is priced at €22,500, also including discounts and promotions.
