The new VW T-Roc Cabrio is here: from €27,750

The new Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio is now available at Spanish dealerships from €27,750. The German convertible reaches the market with two engine options and two trim levels.

A while ago we told you about the first details of the new T-Roc Cabrio following its presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show. When the new-generation T-Roc was launched a couple of years ago, the Germans already hinted that there would be a convertible version of the compact SUV. That day has arrived, and here are all the features of this new German model, which has already sold 360,000 units.

This is what the new VW T-Roc Cabrio looks like inside and out

The exterior design of the new compact convertible SUV is, without a doubt, eye-catching. Whether that is a good or bad thing depends on taste. But the new T-Roc Cabrio will make you turn your head when you see it go by. The bodywork is logically very similar to that of the “original” model, but with certain updates. The two doors give it a very distinctive coupé-style look and a differentiating design.

Inside, the new German model offers considerable space for its four occupants. Whether in the open air or with the roof up, the generous space makes every journey more enjoyable from behind the wheel of this VW. It keeps the modern lines of the dashboard and features the latest generation of infotainment systems based on the modular MIB3 platform.

VW T-Roc Cabrio: connected and equipped

The car is always connected thanks to the built-in eSIM. It allows access to numerous functions within the “We” digital system of Volkswagen. The new compact convertible SUV will feature the wireless AppConnect system, which allows devices to connect to the car’s infotainment system as soon as you get in, without the need for cables.

It is available in two trim levels: Style and R-Line. The Style is the entry-level version and is oriented towards design and functionality. As standard, it comes with driver assistance features such as Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Pre-Collision Assist. It also includes dual-zone climate control, electrically folding mirrors and a navigation system among its comfort features. This trim offers 17-inch “Mayfield” alloy wheels.

The R-Line trim completes the equipment with the well-known sporty touch that so characterises this VW designation. The standout elements of this R-Line package are the LED headlights, Digital Cockpit, rear camera, Park Assist and Keyless access and start system. This trim level offers 18-inch black “Grange Hill” wheels.

Range and price

In terms of engine options, it is available with two petrol engines. The 115 PS 1.0 TSI is only available in the Style trim and paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. And the 150 PS 1.5 TSI is available in both trim levels, with a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

With all that said, it only remains to conclude with its price. With discounts and promotions included, the new VW T-Roc Cabrio starts from €27,750 for the 115 PS version in Style trim. We will see how successful this new alternative from the German compact SUV range will be, now on sale in our country.
