The Nissan 400Z, the brand's new sports car, is hinted at by its creator
The Nissan 400Z is about to arrive, and its creator, Alfonso Albaisa, has wanted to offer us a small preview of its rear end through his social media channels.
The Nissan Z family has always stood out for its characteristic charisma, its strong personality and its undeniable charm. However, all these qualities were being lost in the 370Z, a model that the passage of time and the constant evolution of its rivals no longer left in a good position. But the Japanese house has already taken action, and its response has a name, an arrival date and a leak. The designer of the new 400Z himself has taken advantage of social media to show a preview of the rear end of this acclaimed sports car.
Although the final name is still to be determined, neither its appearance nor its mechanical layout is, aspects that will be in harmony with the legacy it inherits. For now, every one of its details remains hidden, but Alfonso Albaisa, designer, father and creator of the Nissan sports car, has decided to satisfy our cravings with a subtle yet intense preview.
As we could see in the teaser video, we are faced with a front end that exudes freshness, novelty and, above all, sportiness. These traits come together at the rear, an area that Albaisa shows us without hesitation but while protecting himself behind the sketch-like status of the presented preview of the supposed 400Z. Behind the exaggerated design lines, we come across an innovative vehicle that will also set new standards within the brand.

This is reflected in an elongated, muscular rear end that aims to keep the spirit of its predecessors intact. Nevertheless, innovation is also perceived through the rear lights, which abandon the characteristic vertical position in favour of a horizontal one and a new design, becoming much slimmer and more elongated.
As far as mechanics are concerned, Nissan maintains an awful silence that will not be broken until the day of its presentation. However, rumours point to the new 400Z being equipped with a naturally aspirated V6 but paired with hybrid technology, allowing not only greater power but also the presence of the ECO label on its windscreen.

It will be this very September that the Japanese house presents its new sports car for the first time, a vehicle that will arrive set to revolutionise the industry and the sector in which it competes. In this way, Nissan also forces its main rivals to make their move and to renew those who sought to compete with the now-relegated 370Z.
