Nissan NV200 Electric Cars Minivans
The Nissan e-NV200 electric adds a third row of seats and becomes a seven-seater
The Nissan e-NV200 electric vehicle will get a new seven-seat version that keeps the characteristics of its 108 CV electric motor and will allow up to six passengers to travel with all their luggage, becoming the first seven-seat electric MPV

The efforts that Nissan is making to integrate electric vehicles in cities are yielding results. Not only have they managed to bring several Nissan e-NV200 models to the main cities around the world for use as taxis, but they are also adding more functionality to this 100% electric model. After a few months introducing the model in the main markets, they are now launching a new seven-seat version.
This new version is something users of this type of vehicle have been asking for, mainly passenger transport companies in urban areas and those operating routes around the city. The addition of a new space for two adults, with all their luggage, makes it more profitable to transport a group of people. The Nissan e-NV200 are being used as taxis, as we have already seen in Barcelona, London, Berlin and other cities, but they also form part of transport company fleets, so they are very useful as shuttles to the airport or for similar uses.
With these new seats, which are located in the cargo area, a loading space of 870 litres is achieved, a considerable volume that should be enough for the occupants to carry their luggage. This cargo capacity increases up to 2,940 litres if the five rear seats are folded down, which allows it to be used as a cargo vehicle when necessary.
In terms of engines, the new seven-seat version will not feature changes to the electric motor, which delivers 108 CV of power and a top speed of 120 km/h, with a full-charge range of 170 km, enough to complete several city services. In addition, the planned increase in charging points in the main cities will help keep the battery topped up even when it does not return to base for a full recharge.
With these measures, which are still seen as insufficient, the company is increasing the efficiency of electric vehicles and making them increasingly common in our cities.
