The Nissan Juke-R shows its face

Nissan publishes the first image of the Juke-R, a vehicle that is far more real than any of us imagined, to the point that the Japanese brand has two units ready to begin performance testing next month.

Finally, Nissan has got the project off the ground, and the Juke-R is far more real than any of us had initially thought, so much so that the two prototypes, one with right-hand drive and the other with left-hand drive, are already built and ready to be seen by the world while the final performance details are being fine-tuned.

According to Nissan itself, what you see on screen is a project that shows us “what a sporty version of the Juke could look like in the near future“, words that will really resonate in your head, especially when the brand’s executives accompany them with “good things come to those who wait”

If a sporty variant were to see the light of day, competing with the hypothetical QS5 from Audi?, perhaps we shouldn’t be talking about the vehicle you see on screen, a beast reinforced to the maximum to fit the engine and transmission of the Nissan GT-R, that is, to withstand the strain and not die trying with the thrust of 530 horsepower reaching the asphalt through a full-time all-wheel-drive system that everyone knows well.

Specifically, I mean that as a sporty variant we should perhaps expect a Juke whose power should sit around 250 horsepower, more or less, something more restrained and not so brutal and demanding. Even so, it is always a pleasure when brands like Nissan dare to build vehicles like the one I show you today, especially in the times we are living in, where if there are no profits, the prototype isn’t even built.
