The Opel Mokka features an infotainment system that provides very comprehensive connectivity, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and voice recognition.

A good infotainment system is essential in any current model. Connectivity is also key, because the aim is for the car to be an extension of the smartphone we use every day and to be able to accompany us while driving without putting us in risky situations. The Opel Mokka, a car aimed at young drivers, wants to deliver that experience.

To do so, Opel engineers have opted for an infotainment system based on the Snapdragon® Cockpit platform. It presents information to the driver through a 10-inch screen, while the central screen is the same size and gives access to the control elements in a very intuitive way.

Users can configure the two screens to adapt their display to the tastes and needs of each moment. The main screen can be operated through widgets, just like on phones. It also features the voice recognition system, which, starting with “Hey, Opel“, can give access to the system’s functions.

Connectivity is provided by the Snapdragon platform from Qualcomm Technologies and is fully wireless. The car can be paired with the smartphone and recognise the driver’s profile thanks to their mobile device, which makes it easy to adjust preferences automatically. In addition to wireless connectivity, mobile devices can connect through the USB-C port located in the centre console.

The Opel Mokka also offers an optional navigation system. This updates wirelessly and always provides the most current information. The integrated AI learns the driver’s tastes and habits and offers routes tailored to their driving style and preferences.

In addition, the myOpel app can be used to set the destination and route, making it simpler to use. The screen can also show how much energy will remain in the battery on arrival at the proposed destination, based on the user’s driving style. It also suggests charging stops and provides statistics such as consumption, remaining range and other relevant driving data.

With this system, users of the Opel Mokka have at their disposal an efficient, well-equipped electric car to meet the challenges of today’s world.
