The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance continues to showcase the new models unveiled there, and we now turn to the new version of the Pagani Zonda,

We already mentioned that this week we would be receiving a lot of information about the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the event that never misses a summer and brings us some of the most attractive and impressive cars from the leading brands, especially those aimed at luxury and super-luxury cars. Only a few days ago we were talking about the Pagani Zonda EVO 760, and now we present another version of this spectacular model, the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta.

This variant has no roof and shows features that do not exist in the rest of the versions. They say it is the version that will close out the model’s lineup and that there will be no more on the market, although that remains to be seen. What we do know is that there will be only three units produced, and that one of them will not be sold; instead it will go straight to the garage of Horacio Pagani, who has chosen it as his new toy to enjoy behind the wheel.

This model has some quite visible changes, such as the cut-off windscreen, which breaks with the styling of the other Zonda variants to date. It also incorporates elements from several of them to shape what seems to be the most dynamic and aggressive version of the model. For example, the vented bonnet comes from the Zonda 760, while the rear wheel covers recall the Zonda ZoZo.

Inside, you can see the seats that the Pagani Huayra BC also features, while the tyres fitted to its 20 and 21-inch wheels at the front and rear, respectively, are the Pirelli P Zero Corsa used on this model. Aerodynamics are enhanced by the rear wing that rises at the back.

As for the engine, we don’t have exact information, but it could be the same naturally aspirated V12 block from the Mercedes-AMG, which also powers the Zonda 760, so its characteristics and performance will be similar to that car. Knowing that only two units will go on sale, we can assume there may be surprises about this model and we might see another variant in the future, although the brand insists that will not happen.
