The Peugeot RCZ GT Line arrives

Just a few days ago we received the news that Peugeot did not include the RCZ coupé in its future plans, so it would die without a successor. This is due to a question of sales volume. The French brand records high sales volumes in compact models, which account for most of its profits, while the RCZ is a vehicle aimed at a very specific type of customer, so its sales are considerably lower.

Although Peugeot does not include it in its long-term plans, it has just developed a new trim level called GT Line. On the one hand, as its name suggests, the RCZ GT Line is paired with the 1.6 THP engine producing 200 CV, one of the largest in the range, which delivers a maximum torque of 275 Nm, reaches 100 km/h from standstill in 7.5 seconds, with combined-cycle consumption of 6.5 litres per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 150 g/km.

In terms of styling, the Peugeot RCZ GT Line features a specific grille, black wing mirrors, dual chrome exhaust outlets, 19-inch alloy wheels, red detailing on the front logos and wheel centres, and xenon headlights. Inside, the Alcántara leather trim with details such as red stitching or the gloss-black centre console gives the whole a sporty feel, as does the technological practicality of the navigation system integrated into the dashboard.

With a starting price of 33,900 euros, the Peugeot RCZ GT Line joins the new trim levels debuting on other C- and D-segment Peugeot models, such as the 308 GT Line, the 308 SW GT Line, the 508 GT Line and the 508 SW GT Line.
