The Powershift transmission arrives on the Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost
Ford unveils its new Powershift versions, available for the Ford Fiesta with the 1-litre Ecoboost engine. The dual-clutch gearbox will be available on the Trend and Titanium trims, with improved fuel economy and emissions figures, from 11,750 euros.

For some time now, the Powershift gearbox, a dual-clutch unit in the case of Ford, was only available on higher-end models, although its popularity has gradually reached more affordable models. In this case, the Ford Fiesta, the dual-clutch gearbox was only available for the 1.6 version.
However, Ford announces that the dual-clutch option is extended to those interested in buying the Fiesta with the 1-litre EcoBoost engine producing 100 CV. The benefits of this gearbox translate into better performance, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.8 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h.
The Powershift gearbox not only benefits performance but also delivers quite acceptable consumption. According to homologation figures, we are talking about petrol consumption of 4.9 l/100 km and emissions of 114 g/km.
This new dual-clutch option will only be available on the Trend and Titanium trims, at sale prices in our country of 11,750 euros for the Trend version and 13,500 euros for the Titanium, always paired with the 1-litre engine.
