The price of the updated Mitsubishi Space Star makes this city car far more affordable
Starting at 9,900 euros, the 2021 Mitsubishi Space Star launches with major technological updates that range from the mechanics to comfort

The Mitsubishi range has left the all-new Mitsubishi Space Star as the only model outside its portfolio of off-road, crossover or SUV vehicles, in other words, it is the last of the Mohicans of the three-diamond brand, at least for the Spanish market.
Be that as it may, this car arrives in 2021 with major changes aimed at relaunching its presence in the supermini segment but, even more so, with a very attractive RRP, since from this update onwards the brand offers a city car for less than 10,000 euros, quite an achievement.
A necessary refresh for the 2021 Mitsubishi Space Star
The good news for this update to the Mitsubishi Space Star is varied and affects everything from the mechanical and environmental side to driving, comfort and interior space.
As for the mechanics, this vehicle keeps its 1.2-litre, 80 CV, three-cylinder engine, but it has undergone a revision and is now more environmentally friendly since, from this year, it features an EGR valve that reduces the emission of the dreaded NOx gases in compliance with the Euro 6 standard.
The Mitsubishi Space Star 2021 in Kaiteki trim, the highest grade above the Motion, can also be fitted, from this update onwards, with the CVT automatic gearbox, to make driving easier, especially in its natural environment, the city, for those who prefer the comfort of managing two pedals and forgetting about the gear lever.

As for the finishes themselves, the Kaiteki version of the Mitsubishi Space Star has, since this 2021, a new infotainment system that enhances the visual appeal of its display thanks to improved image quality and a refreshed look. In fact, this SDA system allows connectivity with smartphones. The entry-level version, the Mitsubishi Space Star Motion, now features Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) radio.
As for the aesthetic novelties affecting this model, the brand announces a new colour option in the colour palette: as is fitting, this shade is none other than a correlative Orient Red metallic, which blends perfectly with the iconic emblem of the Japanese brand.
And if the changes are noteworthy, the price of the 2021 Mitsubishi Space Star is no less so, since, from the outset, the RRP announced for the most modest variant, the Motion, starts at 9,900 euros, while for the higher grade, the Kaiteki, the purchase cost is set from 11,110 euros.
