The Protoscar Lampo3 unveiled at Le Mans and at the limit

Among the many electric sports car projects presented in recent years, we can talk about the Protoscar Lampo 3, which came to light thanks to a Swiss company about three years ago. We have followed the development of this car from the start, and you will find its first prototype here, as well as the second one (Lampo and Lampo2).

For the Lampo3, the presentation took place on the Le Mans circuit, at the event held before this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, called Le Mans vers le Futur, sharing the bill with the Nissan Leaf Nismo RC and the Green GT.

Stylistically, the Lampo3 is not easy to digest and may look strange, even awkward, at first sight. The biggest novelty of the Lampo3 is clearly that it is part of the GTs of the future, electric sports cars that will not take long to move fully into racing at the level of Le Mans.

And speaking of Le Mans, the Lampo3 was presented with a parade made up of all the cars that might one day take part in Le Mans. Driven by Alessandro De Guglielmo, the Lampo3 briefly leaves its calm pace behind to unleash its top speed, limited by the computer, down the Mulsanne straight; that is, almost 200 km/h.
