The renewed Toyota Hilux 2018 arrives on the Spanish market
The Toyota Hilux has been updated for 2018 and arrives with very interesting new features and versions suited to both commercial and private use

Pick-up trucks are more widely accepted in the United States, but little by little all other countries are adopting them in their markets and Spain is no exception. Toyota, one of the brands with the most experience in this segment, has just presented the new Toyota Hilux. The Japanese manufacturer’s pick-up will reach dealerships in our country in 2018.
Pick-up trucks have always been seen as a vehicle more focused on the industrial world, where situations arise in which you have to load numerous very heavy materials. But Toyota looks at it from a different point of view and seeks to make its new Hilux adapt to the needs of any customer, which is why it includes versions for private use.
The eighth generation of the Toyota Hilux is here to stay and offers new possibilities with considerable improvements over the previous model. One of the main new features of this vehicle is that, from now on, pick-ups can travel at 120 km/h on both motorways and highways. This is a very beneficial factor for Hilux sales, as it allows potential customers to use the vehicle in different situations.

The new version is offered in different trim levels depending on the buyer’s needs. The Hilux VXL arrives as the variant best suited to private use. This version features elements typical of saloons and a cabin much more focused on comfort.
The Hilux’s functionality continues to be characterised by a setup that allows it to tackle any type of terrain, but with the VXL trim it becomes an even more versatile vehicle. Leather-upholstered seats and the most innovative safety features -such as the unintended lane change warning- are present in the new Hilux VXL. The Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system also makes an appearance and offers a much more technological interior.

Even so, the Japanese brand also offers a higher-spec variant, called LIMITED. In this version, we find very sophisticated and comfortable equipment. Push-button start and the start/stop system are part of this trim. We can also specify that our pick-up has a SuperECT six-speed automatic gearbox, which is paired with the 2.4D-4D diesel engine producing 150 CV that powers all Hilux models.
The new Toyota pick-up will reach our market from next 2018 and aims to win over Spanish households and meet all the needs of its future owners. The Toyota Hilux has a starting price of 28,195 euros -if you choose the commercial version- and 30,468 euros if your choice is for private use.
