Auris Toyota Compact Family Photos Range / versions Geneva Motor Show
The restyled Toyota Auris will accompany the new Avensis in Geneva

Toyota has announced that its Avensis saloon will not be the only model to receive an update at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The Auris will also get a facelift, both the five-door bodywork and the Touring Sports estate. The brand will thus complete the update of the saloons that sell the most in Europe.
As with the Avensis, the biggest change to the Auris’s exterior design is concentrated at the front. The headlights, grille and bumper adopt a different style, more understated and in tune with the changes applied to the D-segment saloon. The compact loses some of the character reflected in its previous look, but its purpose is precisely not to stand out too much.

Inside the cabin, changes can be seen in the air vents, the controls on the steering wheel, some trim pieces and, above all, the centre console, which features a new layout of the buttons and a more modern look for the climate control.
All the photographs correspond to the hybrid versions of the Auris and Auris Touring Sports, and the interior also shows that the gear lever no longer has the blue colour characteristic of these variants.

Toyota states that the update will also affect the petrol and diesel engines, as well as the comfort and safety equipment. No new features are mentioned for the hybrid version, which is unlikely given that it already delivers very good results and performs satisfactorily in commercial terms.
For now, Toyota has not gone into further details about this update, pending the presentation of the restyled model on 3 March at the Swiss show. From there we will tell you the rest of the information to get to know the new Auris better.
