The SEAT dealership network already has the first units of the SEAT Altea Freetrack 2.0 TDI 140 CV with all-wheel drive. With this model, SEAT responds to growing demand for crossover-style vehicles with diesel engines, while also completing the range of the Spanish brand’s first crossover.

In addition to the three engine options offered by the Freetrack, two diesel and one petrol, the most notable feature of the model is that it comes with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) as standard equipment, which filters the soot particles emitted by any diesel engine, while also bringing CO2 emissions down to 171 g/km.

As for the starting price, it is quite affordable at €27,900, with extensive equipment that includes, among other features, ABS, TCS, ESP + DSR with EBA, tyre pressure monitoring, front, side and curtain airbags, passenger airbag deactivation, cruise control and on-board computer, CD/MP3 radio with steering-wheel controls and AUX-IN connection, electromechanical power steering, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable and heated external mirrors, dual chrome exhaust pipes, Elox roof bars, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, front electric windows with one-touch function and anti-pinch system, fog lights, rain sensor, Coming and Leaving Home function, ISOFIX anchor points and 17-inch alloy wheels with 225/50 tyres.

In addition, the Altea offers as an option the new and sophisticated SEAT Mediasystem navigation system, featuring a 6.5-inch colour touchscreen with VGA resolution (800×400) and a 30 GB hard drive that significantly increases route calculation speed.
