The Seat Altea Freetrack reduced to a single model

Seat Altea Freetrack

It was known that the tightrope walkers in Martorell were the Seat Exeo and Altea. Of the former, we have already seen that it has gone to the great scrapheap in the sky, while the latter still hangs by a thread, even though an electric variant has been tested.

As far as the Altea Freetrack is concerned, things look far from promising, since the “crossover-MPV” has failed to take off in sales. Although the XL versions sold a more or less decent number of units last month, the Freetrack is not so easy to swallow, especially for those who do not use their vehicle in rural or off-road environments with a standard front-wheel-drive car. For this reason, Seat has decided to sell the Freetrack in only one configuration.

This configuration will be sold for €29,500 (price without discounts), with a 2.0 TDI CR 140 CV engine, homologated consumption of 7.4 l/100 km in the urban cycle and 5.9 l/100 km combined.

It will come equipped with a multifunction leather steering wheel, electronic cruise control (GRA), multifunction display/on-board computer, dual headlights with integrated long-range lights, storage pockets on the back of the front seats, integrated fog lights, front side airbags with head airbag, ESP, driver and passenger airbags and remote central locking. For those who need to drive on roads in poor condition, the Altea Freetrack comes with 4×4 traction as standard.
