The SEAT Ateca updates its range with new equipment packs

SEAT is restructuring its range gradually; proof of this is that just a month ago it was the turn of the León, which, besides simplifying its trim offering, took the opportunity to do the same with the available engines. The Ateca will not follow that path: it also sees its range revised, but this will only affect the trim levels and the equipment they include.

With this push, SEAT wants to make the Ateca an even more appealing SUV for interested customers, so it now restructures its trim range with new equipment packs that focus on greater technological deployment, offering driver assistance systems, comfort and connectivity. In addition, the Spanish brand is offering the Ateca from this very moment with immediate delivery availability at its official dealerships, an advantage given the currently long delivery times across the car industry.

The SEAT Ateca is offered in four trim levels called Reference, Style, X-Perience and FR, and the big news is that each of these trims is now linked to an integrated pack included as standard. Thus, the Reference, Style and X-Perience trims come as standard with the XM pack, while the FR trim is linked to the XS pack. In addition, as an option, the Style and X-Perience trims can be fitted with the XL and XXL packs and the FR trim can do the same with the XM and XL packs.

Let us now look at some of the elements included in each pack linked as standard to the different trims, starting with the entry-level trim and its pack, called Reference XM:

• Full LED headlights
• Front Assist system
• Cruise control
• 8.25-inch display for the infotainment system
• Wireless Full Link with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• SEAT Connect
• Two-zone climate control

The next step up is the Style XM trim, which adds to the above:

• Adaptive cruise control
• 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit instrument cluster
• Lane Assist (unintentional lane departure warning)
• High beam assist

The third trim is called X-Perience XM and adds to the above:

• Navigation system with 9.2-inch display
• Traffic sign recognition
• SEAT Drive Profile driving mode selector
• Progressive steering

The last trim is the FR XS, which adds the following elements to the above:

• Blind spot detection
• Rear traffic alert
• Pre-collision assist
• Hands-free power tailgate
• Black dynamic upholstery
