The Skoda Fabia finishes being revealed in two new images

The strategy Skoda followed last week of revealing small previews of the bodywork of the new Fabia has come to an end. Instead of continuing to publish teasers of the rear, the only part of the exterior design still left to be seen, the Czech brand has decided to reveal in full the appearance of the next generation of its city car in two studio images.
According to the head of design at Skoda, Jozef Kabaň, the Fabia is the first production car to use the advanced design language previewed by the VisionC prototype we saw at the last Geneva Motor Show. The goal is for the model to no longer look merely like a functional city car, but also to convey an image that is somewhat more expressive and youthful, with the permission of its sibling, the Seat Ibiza.

These are features we had already seen in the earlier previews of the Fabia, and they are reflected in the redesigned front end, the straighter lines, the very pronounced side crease and the trapezoidal rear lights, among other details. The increase in exterior customisation options introduced with the last update of the Fabia will be repeated in this new generation, Kabaň points out.
Although Skoda has not yet shown the cabin in official images, the head of design states that one of its main novelties will be the increase in boot volume. As for equipment, it will feature new driver assistance systems and greater technological equipment with features such as MirrorLink, which debuted on the new Volkswagen Polo.
